Events/Hitabo
It was taken earlier 14 January 2012 around 7:30pm, La Carlota Philippines District Chapel, Negros Occidental of THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS.
In this picture are the Full-Time Missionaries of the Church they were called Elder and Sisters, some are foreigners and other are the locals but they came from Luzon and Mindanao. They are wearing name tags with their family name and the name of the Church. Missionaries are dress modest and formal. The age of the elders are around 19-26 years old and the Sisters are 21-30. If you saw them walking in the streets knocking on your door, please listen to what they are going to share. They are the true messenger of God. They will teach you The restoration of the Gospel, The plan of salvation, The gospel of Jesus Christ, The Laws and Commandments. And other wonderful things in life on how can we obtain peace and harmony.
In this event leaders of the Church in our District-we have eight branches (1.San Enrique, 2.Ayungon, 3.La Carlota 1st, 4. La Carlota 2nd, 5.Masville, 6.Mangapsang, 7.La Castellana, and 8.Moises Padilla). We gathered together to watch the satellite training broadcast on the screen. That Are Leaders can give us instruction and training's. Because we cant go to manila to attend in that meeting, the Church use technology as a sort of communication. I believe that technology help us in our daily life as long as we use it in the right way. And in the Lords work.
I learned a lot in that training, in the training its shows us on how the Lord care for us here in the Philippines. How the Lord want us to know the truthfulness of His Gospel. And how the Leaders of the Church can contribute in His work, and how the leaders can do their calling effectively.
This is our District President, President Mario Malacaman he preside all over La Carlota District, he stand as a watchman and helping the Branch President in every branch walk in the ways of the Lord and to watch their members in their individual branches. As a District President he has two councilor, A Clerk and Executive secretary who help him do the work in the Church. All Leaders/Teachers/and Serving the Church Administratively-we are not being paid by the Church all of the effort and sacrifices that we given are showing our love and devotion on our Savior Jesus Christ.
That's me in the right side I serve as a first councilor in the District and in my left is Brother Gilbor camporazo Jr. who serve as a District Clerk and a Branch Missionary in the Branch.
We are happy serving in our calling in the church because we believe that if we are in the service of our fellow beings we are in the service of our God. A wonderful felling we felt if we serve the Lord without publicity or showing to the public what we had done.
I am so grateful that I am being part of this marvelous work that is Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored Gospel true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, Baptism, Repentance, Receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the end.
I and Gilbor serve as a full time Missionaries, I assign in Quezon city Last January 21, 2006-2008 for two years. I live my home and everything. To preach the Gospel of the Lord we walk everyday 9:00am till 9:30pm.
It was an amazing experience and Spiritual experience of my life. And now I still continue serving the Church and all the things I learned in my Mission I applied in my life:)
Attributes first before Skills.
